mao jud!
there is a problem in davao… it lacks hotels!
Sayang, there is a good number of foreigners who are interested to visit davao thru chartered flights but their number could not be accommodated by our hotels! so sad…sana the international hotel chains would immediately respond to this..and so are the existing hotels in the city, they should add more rooms and upgrade their facilities to international standards so we can be at par with other big asian cities…
so shame for the operators of the davao international airport for imposing additional charges to airline companies in the use of the tubes…kakahiya,,,
i love davao..i’m goin home soon for vacation…i’m excited..:)

Don’t settle for less, stay with the best. Sunflower Hotel is the best hotel in Davao City. Sunflower Hotel is the best because of its great location (near the airport, marketplace, Abreeza mall and other malls, beaches, parks, shopping areas, churches, schools, public transportation terminals, Sanny Sweets Bakeshop, clubs, resorts, and so on and so forth), affordable elegant clean rooms, superb service, warm and friendly staff, great food, affordable price, spacious rooms, free internet access, fluffy Canadian Towels, state-of-the art duvets, etc. So, it’s the best.
Where to go and what to do:
1. Bogsers at Times Beach for a pitcher of iced tea and the view of the unending horizon.
2. Sta. Ana Wharf and ride a boat to Islareta Beach Resort, Talicud Island.
3. Eden Resort and enjoy the fresh virgin air.
4. Mountain Haven and get a workout from walking your Lab or someone else’s Lab.
5. Abreeza Mall, order a grande mocha frapp with an extra espresso shot from Starbucks to be all the more excited and jittery in touring Davao
6. Central Bank of the Philippines if they have an expo.
7. Sta. Ana church and have a calming moment with God.
8. Camp Sabros for a hike up and zipline down and zipline up, and hike down. whew. Just writing about it makes me sweat.
9. Everlasting Power of Love aka EPOL and sweat again for a day of hiking up and down. The falls is the reward from getting a workout for your legs and lungs.
10. Sta. Ana Wharf again and rent a pump boat for a day. Visit Coral Garden for snorkeling or diving, then Babusanta for lunch and an hour of siesta, and then snorkel again at ______ (ask the captain of the boat).
11. Before going home to wherever your fabulous life is, purchase Chinese with a Filipino twist delicacies at Sanny Sweets Bakeshop beside Sunflower Hotel to give out to your friends and families you didn’t bring with you in touring Davao. Pasalubongs are just as important as you coming back happier than ever.
