The condo boom in Davao City spilled over to the nearby Island Garden City of Samal with the proposed “AZURE CONDOMINIUM SAMAL”. Davao City is populated by an even mix of tribes, from all over the Philippine archipelago and traders from the four corners of the world. The average Davaweño can easily converse and understand English, and it is fluent Tagalog and Bisaya or Cebuano.
The solemn rituals of the tribes, their rhythmic dance steps and chanting music are intimately interwoven with the rich customs and traditions of migrants. There are two main festivals, the Araw Ng Dabaw Celebrations every March and the Kadayawan Festival in August.
Apart from the fabled jeepney, taxicabs are plenty as well. One can avail of the numerous rent-a-cars. Just ask the hotel personnel.
